Install MyGarageStory

Install the app on your device for one-tap access, full-screen mode, and a shortcut icon on your home screen or dock.

Android (Chrome, Edge, Samsung Internet)

One-tap install via the browser menu.
  1. 1 Open mygaragestoryapp.com in Chrome, Edge, or Samsung Internet.
  2. 2 Tap the menu icon (⋮) in the top right.
  3. 3 Select "Install app" or "Add to Home screen".
  4. 4 Confirm — the icon appears on your home screen and app drawer.

Chrome may show an install banner automatically. If so, tap it and you're done.

iPhone / iPad (Safari)

Requires Safari — other iOS browsers do not support install.
  1. 1 Open mygaragestoryapp.com in Safari (not Chrome).
  2. 2 Tap the Share button (bottom center of Safari).
  3. 3 Scroll down and select "Add to Home Screen".
  4. 4 Confirm the name and tap "Add" in the top right.

If "Add to Home Screen" is missing, make sure you're using Safari and that Private Browsing is turned off.

Windows (Chrome, Edge, Brave, Opera)

Installs like a native desktop app with taskbar shortcut.
  1. 1 Open mygaragestoryapp.com in Chrome, Edge, Brave, or Opera.
  2. 2 Look for the install icon in the address bar (right side, looks like a small monitor with a down-arrow).
  3. 3 Or open the browser menu (⋮) and choose "Install MyGarageStory".
  4. 4 Click Install in the popup. The app opens in its own window and pins to the taskbar.

Firefox on Windows does not currently support installable web apps — bookmark the site instead, or switch to Chrome / Edge for one-tap install.

Mac (Safari, Chrome, Edge)

Safari 17+ or any Chromium browser.

Safari 17+ (macOS Sonoma)

  1. 1 Open mygaragestoryapp.com in Safari.
  2. 2 Menu bar: File → Add to Dock…
  3. 3 Confirm — the app pins to your Dock and opens in a stand-alone window.

Chrome / Edge / Brave

  1. 1 Click the install icon in the address bar, or open the browser menu.
  2. 2 Choose "Install MyGarageStory".
